Every person that volunteers with the OC Food Bank will be an empowering force to helping change our community. 

Volunteers will be working on assembly lines packing a variety of food items into boxes that will be serving approximately 25,500 low-income seniors monthly. These boxes are eventually distributed to over 70 sites all throughout Orange County and surrounding areas.  

This is a high energy, fast-paced event well loved by our volunteers.  

Safety Guidelines  

• Dress code is CLOSED-TOED SHOES. NO SANDALS. Preferably tennis shoes

• Following CDC guidelines we are providing masks and requiring that everyone wear a mask.

• Gloves will be made available to people who want to wear them.

• You will be working in a warehouse, dress accordingly and in comfortable clothes.

• People will lift anywhere from 1 pound up to 50 pounds.

• Repetitious tasks will be performed for the duration of the event.

• Accommodating tasks are available for those with unique abilities or those with physical limitations.

• The warehouse utilizes forklifts and heavy moving equipment, if children are present they must be properly supervised
