HUB of Hope Food Bagging for Adult TEAMS

COVID has impacted the ability of many Orange County residents to acquire food. We provide free food to anyone M-F between 1-4pm at our HUB of Hope Center.

Do you have a small team of 6-10 volunteers looking for a morning project? On the first Wednesday of each month (see the dates below) we need a small team to help assemble 200 bags of food. Duties include organizing food, making 200 food bags, breaking down boxes, and basic cleanup. Volunteers must be able to bend and lift 20 lbs. Please wear a mask, work gloves (if you have them, otherwise latex will be provided), closed toed shoes, and since we will be working outside bring sun protection or a rain jacket depending on the weather. All volunteers must be over 18 years of age.

Dates: Wednesdays- Sept 8 th, Oct 6 th, Nov 3 rd, Dec 8 th.

To sign up please fill out an online volunteer application at www.pohoc.org/volunteer.

You must sign up with Ann Stoddard, Volunteer Coordinator, and complete a volunteer waiver that will be emailed to you. No walk up volunteers are allowed.

We are practicing safe COVID-19 measures by limiting the number of volunteers inside our pantries and require all volunteers to wear a mask and wear gloves while handling the food.
