COVID has impacted the ability of many Orange County residents to acquire food. Pathways of Hope is a nonprofit organization that serves families and individuals throughout North Orange County. For 46 years Pathways of Hope has been providing food, shelter and support and prevention services to the hungry, homeless and marginalized through assistance of local congregations, volunteers, businesses and grants from foundations and government agencies.
Volunteers needed to help make 100 food bags and hand out food at NOCE College Food Bank. This program runs every other week most months.
We have open shifts on Mondays and Tuesdays. There are AM and PM shifts.
Volunteers must be vaccinated for COVID-19, wear a face covering, wear closed toed shoes, lift at least 15 lbs, and be 18 years or older.
Tasks include unloading food pallets, organizing food, bagging food, handing out food to students, cleaning surfaces, breaking down boxes and other tasks related to the food bank.

The Pathways of Hope HUB of Hope offers emergency food, hygiene, and sanitation items to homeless and low-income families and individuals as well as a walk-up center for individuals and families seeking housing assistance.
